The Estimator
Do I need Hover?
The estimator reads Hover reports today; send us one report from another measurement service and we'll test it before you pay. Hover is also the fastest path, because there's a one-click Send to estimator button on the job. The front office doesn't need Hover.
Does it work with JobNimbus, Jobber or AccuLynx?
JobNimbus: yes, today. There's a Send to estimator button on the contact. Hover: yes, today.
There's no direct connection to Jobber or AccuLynx right now. You can still attach the branded PDF to a job in those tools. If you want everything wired together, the full system comes with a CRM we set up for you.
What if it gets a number wrong?
You'll see it before the customer does. Every number on the estimate is traceable to a line on the measurement report, so you can check where it came from. You review the estimate before it goes out. Nothing is sent without you.
How accurate is it?
It doesn't guess the numbers. Every line is a quantity from the Hover report times a unit price from your own price sheet; the AI reads the report, and the math is plain arithmetic.
Before you rely on it, we run three of your own past jobs through it and show you any miss line by line. Setup isn't done until it prices the way you price.
Does it replace my estimator?
No. It drafts in seconds; your estimator checks and signs off instead of typing.
Who owns my pricing data?
You do. Your price sheet, your templates and your margins are yours. We load them into your account to price your jobs, and they don't get used for anyone else's.
What does my customer see?
A clean, branded PDF with your logo, in your format. The cost, margin and profit on every line are for you, not for them.
The Front office
What happens when I miss a call?
With the front office on, the AI receptionist answers 24/7 in your trade's language and can book the caller straight into your calendar. Missed calls trigger an instant alert so a person calls back. Estimates that haven't sold get followed up until the customer answers.
Does it pretend to be me?
No. It says it's an automated assistant in the first sentence of every call, and that the call is recorded. When someone wants a person, it stops and gets one.
Will it annoy my customers?
You hear it before any customer does. We run 20 test calls, you listen to three of the recordings, and it doesn't go live until you reply "Approved". If it sounds like a robot to you, don't buy it.
Do my customers need a new number?
No. They keep calling your number. The receptionist has its own number in your area code, and your line forwards to it only when you're busy or don't pick up.
What if it breaks?
Your phone rings first, so a broken agent never stops your line from ringing. Turn forwarding off with one code and every call rings your phone, exactly as before. Then email support@forelinesystems.com: if your agent is down, we respond within 4 hours of support time.
Does it send text messages?
Not at go-live. Business texting in the US needs a carrier registration under your own business, and we don't promise a date for it. Until then, missed calls trigger an instant alert so a person calls back.
Pricing and terms
What does it cost?
The Estimator is $1,000 to set up and $349 a month. The Front office is $750 to set up and $349 a month. The Full system is $2,500 to set up and $999 a month. Setup fees are one-time.
How long am I locked in?
You're not. The first five clients are on the founding offer: month to month, cancel any time with 30 days' written notice.
Front office is $750 to set up. $250 of that is a non-refundable onboarding fee — the kickoff call, provisioning your number, building your agent, the tooling. The other $500 is refundable: ask in writing within 30 days of going live and you get it back, as long as you finished onboarding and kept call forwarding live for at least 14 consecutive days. We need those two weeks for the system to have had a fair run.
Then it's $349 a month, starting the month after go-live. Monthly fees aren't refunded. The Full system works the same way — a third of the setup fee is the non-refundable onboarding fee, two thirds is refundable on the same terms. The Estimator on its own has no call forwarding, so its founding-offer terms are covered on the demo.
When does the monthly start?
Your first month of service is included in the setup, so the monthly starts the month after go-live.
Is the setup fee ever waived or discounted?
The setup fee is the work — it is never waived and never discounted.
What does "set up for you" mean?
We load your price sheet and templates into the estimator, connect Hover and JobNimbus if you use them, put the receptionist on your phone line and calendar, and build the CRM and the automations between them. You get a working system, not a login and a manual.
Your first month of service is included in the setup fee, so the monthly doesn't start until the month after you go live.
What do the other systems cost?
Only the three packages have a fixed price. Each card on the Services page says which package already includes that system; anything else is scoped and priced with you on a call. Some build on the Estimator or the Front office and go live once that package is live; their cards say so. See every system.
Setup and support
How long does setup take?
Usually about a week after the kickoff for the Estimator or the Front office, and two to three weeks for the Full system. The price sheet and the test calls set the pace.
What do I need to have ready?
For the Estimator: your price sheet, three past estimates with their Hover reports and the totals you actually sent, and your logo. For the Front office: the line to forward, your hours, your service area, your phone price line word for word, and a 60-second voice memo of how you answer. We send the full list after you sign.
Do I have to switch CRMs?
No. JobNimbus works today, and the Full system is built on the CRM you already have. If you don't have one, it comes with a CRM we set up for you.
How do I get support?
Email support@forelinesystems.com, 9am to 6pm Central, Monday to Friday. If your agent is down or sending callers to the wrong place, we respond within 4 hours of support time; anything else, the next business day. And you can always turn your forwarding off yourself.
Do you need my passwords?
No. You never send a password. Where we need access, you create the key yourself and send it through a one-time secret link.
About us
Who are you? How long have you been around?
New. Foreline Systems builds automated systems for exterior contractors, and we're not going to tell you we've got a hundred clients. If you sign up now, you'd be one of the first five. You'll see it run on your own job in the demo before you pay, and it's month to month.
Who built it?
Built by a working siding estimator in the Chicago area.
Who is it for, and who isn't it for?
It's built for exterior contractors (siding, roofing, gutters, windows): crews of 1 to 10 where the owner does the estimates and answers the phone, sending 5 or more estimates a month.
It isn't for one-off handymen and odd-job crews, shops sending a couple of estimates a month, trades that don't work from a measurement report, or anyone who wants to send numbers without looking at them.
Where are you based?
In the Chicago area. Demos, kickoffs and check-ins happen on calls, so your shop doesn't have to be next door.
Book a demo
See it work on a real report.
A 15-minute call. No slides. Bring one Hover report from a real job and watch it turn into a priced estimate. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you.
